THE BAM! RATING?

Picture
The BAM! rating is a newly integrated rating scale in addition to the critic rating each film gets. BAM! is simply the entertainment value that is solely based on whether or not a film is worth watching. A film can have a high BAM! rating and a low critic rating or vice versa.

My name is Abigail Mulonas. I am 20 years old. I graduated from Lake Orion High School in 2019. I live in Grand Rapids, MI. I graduated from Specs Howard in the Broadcast Media Arts program in August 2020 and will be graduating from GRCC in April 2022.

I am passionate about film. As you can see, I have hundreds of films that I have critiqued. I am told that I am a harsh critic. What can I say - I am honest! When critiquing a film, many factors influence my decision. I am noticing the good or the bad of the productional aspects (such as the cinematography, editing, acting, etc.) but I can also take a step away and acknowledge if a film is purely entertaining (BAM!).

I have always had an appreciation for all aspects of film production. Since I have been at Specs Howard and have learned visual storytelling, editing, and directing/camera work, I have an even deeper appreciation for the film. It is an absolute dream of mine to work in the TV/film industry. I have the ultimate respect for the work that goes into this field. Who knows, maybe one day someone will critique a film I have worked on.
